I shot this video along with fellow WCK photographer Miguel Tortosa while in Acapulco immediately after Hurricane Otis made landfall.
Hurricane Otis made landfall along Mexico’s western coast as one of the most powerful storms to ever hit the country. Without enough warning to evacuate, people living on the southern Pacific coast of Mexico were forced to endure the Category 5 storm in their homes. Due to the rapid intensification, many families lacked the time to stock up on essentials before the hurricane hit. WCK is on the ground providing fresh meals & water to families in need.

I traveled to Mexico City for a friend's wedding and in my downtime found myself in the center of one of the largest demonstrations I had ever experienced. Here is some video that I shot from the International Women's Day March in Mexico City.
An estimated 180K women marched through Mexico City on March 8th for International Women’s Day. Women posted thousands of photos on landmarks and barricades along the route of those who raped or otherwise assaulted them. People posted photos of those who have been kidnapped or are otherwise disappeared. These women marched for a variety of reasons but the thing that stood out to me was the level of bravery these women showed as they protested for their rights to safely exist while living in a place where femicide and kidnappings are commonplace.
